Giuseppe De Palo
Prof. De Palo is President of ADR Center SpA. He is also International Professor of ADR Law and Practice at Hamline University School of Law. In addition, he teaches International Negotiation Theory and Practice at the Interdepartmental Research Center in European and International Studies of the Sapienza Università di Roma. He is a mediator of major international business disputes.

Leonardo D’Urso
Mr. D’Urso is the CEO and co-founder of ADR Center. He is an expert on creating Conflict Management Systems (CMS), managing business negotiations, and mediating complex commercial disputes. He is responsible for the high quality and constant improvement of “case management” for the national and international mediations and arbitrations administered by ADR Center, as well as the firm’s On-Line Dispute Resolution programme.

Christopher Honeyman
Mr. Honeyman is the lead external consultant to ADR Center. He has served as mediator, arbitrator and in other neutral capacities in more than 2,000 disputes since the 1970s, and as a consultant to numerous academic and practical conflict resolution programmes in the U.S. and abroad. From 1990 to 2005 he directed a succession of highly innovative and Hewlett Foundation-funded research and development programmes in ADR, of national or international scale. He is co-editor of the primary reference work on negotiation, The Negotiator’s Fieldbook (American Bar Association, 2006) and author of many articles on ADR.

Elena Ciancio
Ms. Ciancio, the senior staff member of ADR Center, is responsible for the management and coordination of international technical assistance projects and for the planning, organization, and implementation of numerous training courses, summer schools, seminars, and workshops on international negotiation and ADR.

Manon Schonewille
Ms. Schonewille, a consultant to ADR Center, has been Managing Director of the nonprofit ACB Mediation Corporate Conflict Management, based in The Hague, Netherlands, since 1999. ACB informs and advises corporations and law firms on conflict management and the use of mediation in commercial disputes. She has extensive experience in training corporations in conflict management. She also teaches students, lawyers, mediators and negotiators in advanced mediation techniques, and is one of the assessors for the certification of mediators for the Netherlands Mediation Institute. She is also herself an NMI certified mediator.

Jay Welsh
Mr. Welsh is Executive Vice-President and General Counsel of JAMS, the world’s largest private mediation and arbitration firm. A frequent lecturer and speaker, he conducts numerous training programmes in negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and related topics throughout the world. He has assisted numerous businesses and government agencies in the formation and implementation of ADR programmes, and has written extensively on reducing legal costs through the use of ADR.

James Coben
Professor Coben is Professor of Law at Hamline University School of Law, St. Paul, Minnesota, USA. Professor Coben directs the Dispute Resolution Institute (DRI) at Hamline, ranked by U.S. News & World Report as one of the top five U.S. programmes in its field. He teaches civil procedure, dispute resolution practice, mediation, and negotiation.

Nadja Alexander
Professor Alexander is one of the best-known teachers of ADR worldwide, having taught ADR in almost 20 countries. She is Professor of Dispute Resolution in the law faculty of the University of Queensland, and is Director of Practice for the Australian Center for Peace and Conflict Studies. She has won numerous awards for teaching and for innovation in ADR.

Kehinde Aina
Mr. Aina is a lawyer by training, and is founder and director of the Lagos Multi-Door Courthouse (LMDC), the first multidoor courthouse program established in Africa. He has expertise in negotiation, mediation and dispute resolution systems design. Mr. Aina has mediated major business disputes, and has led a number of private and court-connected ADR projects for corporations, the judiciary and governments.
