Mediation is particularly suited for resolution of international disputes. Currently, there are no standard guidelines governing the treatment of international disputes and their outcomes. Consequently, even if a company obtains the recognition of its rights in court, the enforcement of the judgment may be troublesome.

Companies opting for mediation avoid being judged by a foreign court, and maintain full control over their disputes.
