Much of JAMS International ADR Center mediation and arbitration work is, at present, international in nature, and that many of its neutrals now act regularly as arbitrators, and as mediators, in cross-border disputes. The Rules also come in response to the urging of many clients who wish to have a set of international rules more responsive to their needs.
JAMS International ADR Center Case Managers will administer these cases with the professionalism and efficiency that our clients have come to expect. A special JAMS International Arbitration Committee (“the JIAC”), composed of former judges and lawyers experienced in international arbitration, will function as the JIAC under the Rules and will deal with such matters as challenges, arbitrator replacement, and other issues as specified.
